Donations of Artifacts
Donations of artifacts should have a background or history of Monett and surrounding areas.
Family histories and pictures are very welcome.

Monetary Donations
We are a 501c(3) organization and donations may therefore be tax deductible. Monetary Donations may consist of cash, checks, stocks, bonds etc. We have NAP (Neighborhood Assistance Program) credits available for eligible businesses or individuals. Donations of Time (as Volunteers)
​We are a Volunteer based organizations and are always looking for people who love history as much as we do and would like to spend three hours once a month or more often in the museum helping us during open hours, assisting visitors. Or you might be interested in helping us catalog items or entering information into our systems. If you have a few hours, please call us at 417.235.9030 and leave a message for Bill Thurston. We would love to welcome you to our volunteer staff.

Endowment Fund
The Monett Historical Society Board and a local donor have stepped up to organize the Historical Society Endowment Fund and provided a generous initial donation to its investment portfolio. The historical society board may draw from the fund no more than 5% per year per legal document. If you would like to know more about the endowment fund, you can contact:
